A long-time University of Nebraska administrator who is running for the Board of Regents in order to use his insider knowledge to truly represent the hardworking taxpayers of the 4th district! Unlike other board members, I am an insider to our universities and colleges. This gives me a unique and passionate view that the Board of Regents needs.
$1 BILLION IN STATE-AIDED BUDGET
The Board of Regents is the body through which the taxpayers who fund the university are able to oversee and provide feedback to university administration. That means the primary job of a regent is to represent the views and interests of those taxpayers to university administration.
WHO IS YOUR ELECTED REGENT?
With $3 billion in overall spending and $1 billion state-aided budget there is so much public money at stake and yet most people don't even know who their regent is, let alone whether they are representing their interests!
